A good stay overall
helpful staff luggage storage room cleanliness remote location few restaurants taxi accessibility
the staff were always ready to assist. they stored luggage both before check-in and after check-out. i appreciated the cleanliness of my room. it.
the location required a bit of walking to reach public transportation. finding family-friendly restaurants nearby was challenging. taxis did not readily come to the street in front of the hotel..

underwhelming stay
chemical smell unpleasant experience
i was excited about this place but left feeling pretty let down. i borrowed pajamas at the reception. they looked clean, nicely folded. unfortunately, they smelled strongly of chemicals, probably from dry cleaning. putting that on after a long day was really unpleasant, it ruined my relaxation.

the staff seemed friendly and polite to me. my room was spacious for a standard room here. it had the amenities i needed.
the location wasn't very convenient for me. i had to walk at least 10 minutes to the closest train station. decent dining was also a bit of a walk.

I really liked the shared kitchenette in the basement. It had a dining space and laundry facilities. there was also a vending machine for drinks which was convenient. the staff was friendly and the hotel's proximity to downtown asakusa and a 7-eleven was very useful.
The street outside had noticeable noise, even though the neighborhood was generally quiet. The windows lacked adequate soundproofing.

the staff were helpful when i asked about luggage transfer to the next hotel. they were sweet and accommodating, our bags were sent smoothly. the hotel provided useful information about the asakusa station exit that had a lift.

The hotel allows easy access to both kuramae and asakusa. I could walk to both. the sky tree was close, and i found the river nearby that offers ferry services. the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. I found it relaxing.

the bathroom facilities were good, and i loved the shower wash smell. the double room had a washing machine in the bathroom, useful. the rooms offered filtered water available in the basement kitchen with glass jugs provided to refill.

The downstairs area had a large table and a microwave, great to eat there. That was an extra perk. i found art displays to be interesting and unique throughout the hotel. the hotel is designed in a beautiful japandi style, but it had everything i needed.

large space quiet neighborhood friendly staff
i loved the large space in my room, so new! the neighborhood was quiet. bathrooms had everything you need! also, i found the staff friendly near downtown asakusa.
service was lacking for the price you pay, the bins and rubbish weren't fully removed.

smelly pajamas rude staff
The room was clean and had comfortable beds. That was acceptable.
The pajamas smelled. They must have been dry-cleaned. putting on something smelly after a long day was unpleasant. the cafe staff seemed rude, and the breakfast felt overpriced. i wouldn't eat there again.

quiet area boutique vibe friendly staff unclear resolution stale muffins no apology
the hotel is in a quiet residential area. asakusa station is a ten-minute walk. the hotel has amazing art and a boutique vibe. the staff is friendly and ready to accommodate needs.
breakfast tickets i paid for were not given for the second day. no real apology or resolution was offered. two muffins from the cafe were unbelievably stale and inedible.
